Animal Complaints
New Jersey State Police, Port Norris Station, should be contacted for all animal complaints and/or concerns. Should you need to reach New Jersey State Police please call 856-451-0100. A dispatcher will take all information from you and dispatch a Trooper(s) to investigate your concerns. If no animal cruelty violations or evidence of neglect are identified, but additional services are required, New Jersey State Police will contact Animal Control.
Please be prepared to provide the dispatcher with ‘detailed’ information to include:
- your name
- a contact phone number
- the address or location of where the animal concern is located
- a description of the problem
Troopers will respond and coordinate with their Humane Law Enforcement Officers to appropriately address animal cruelty violations or concerns that may be identified.
